The Sea Deli - Our Fresh Fish
At The Sea Deli we support local fishermen, local produce and sustainable fishing. We sell fresh local fish which varies according to the seasons, we don't sell fish that has been flown halfway around the world or fish that has spent three weeks at sea packed in ice, for this reason we may not always have the fish you are looking for but we will always be happy to suggest a delicious alternative and give you tips on cooking it.
Smoked Fish
Come in and take a look at our range of smoked fish, sourced from local South Devon smokeries and selected for its exceptional flavour. We also stock sauces and some lovely local bread to make a meal of it.
Shellfish
There really is nothing better than fresh crab meat, our local fishermen set their pots just off the south Devon coast, where the waters produce some off the best Crab and Lobster in the world, these crustaceans are then cooked and picked to perfection, by hand, to provide our customers with the finest crab meat around. At the Sea Deli if you want to do the picky bit yourself we have whole fresh cooked Crab and Lobster available too.
Our mussels come from the River Teign where they are rope grown harvested and sent to us via a purification process to ensure their quality we sell them in bags for you to take home and steam to perfection, why not try one of our delicious home-made sauces to compliment them we have traditional white wine garlic and cream, an Oriental Thai chilli and lemongrass, or a Tomato Provencal to choose from.
Summer BBQ Selections
Why not have a BBQ on the River Beach, outside your holiday accommodation, or on your own patio at home? Watch the sun setting, enjoy a glass of something and cook some of our prepared fish kebabs, marinated fish or Bacon Prawn and Chilli Skewers. On sunny days there is nothing better and we can take all the preparation work away.
Seafood Platters
Having a celebration, party, or family get together? Why not order one of our fantastic seafood platters, a selection of shellfish and smoked fish, beautifully presented with a bread basket and selection of complementary sauces and condiments.
